Biography:

I am a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Outcomes Connect Australia, bringing a Bachelor of Psychology and a Diploma of Counselling, along with formal Lifeline training and volunteer counselling experience, to my work with NDIS participants and their support networks.

Since joining the team in June 2025, I deliver evidence-based, person-centred clinical supports in community settings. This includes conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments, developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, and providing education and skill-building that uphold client empowerment, choice and control, and strengths-based practice. I work within the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework with a strong commitment to reducing and eliminating restrictive practices.

I manage an allocated portfolio of clients, supporting them to identify meaningful goals and practical strategies that reflect their passions, strengths and aspirations. I ensure plans are regularly reviewed, evaluated and updated, maintain high-standard clinical records, and stay closely connected through focused check-ins so that supports continue to meet expectations. A core part of my role is building the knowledge, capacity and confidence of the people who support participants day-to-day – families, carers and friends – so positive change is sustainable in the home and community.

Before moving into behaviour support, I spent over 14 years in learning and development leadership roles, designing training programs, coaching teams and facilitating wellbeing and cultural change initiatives. This background strengthens my ability to educate, coach and upskill both participants and those around them. Earlier experience teaching English as a second language to people from diverse cultural backgrounds, including time living and working in Japan, further supports my culturally responsive practice.

I am approachable, collaborative and committed to ongoing professional development. I actively contribute to Outcomes Connect Australia’s culture as a fun, people-focused and supportive place to work while helping participants achieve meaningful outcomes.
